A wing is the buoyancy cell of a backplate and wing system, so buying one separately lets you match the lift to your cylinders and change it without replacing your harness. The OMS Deep Ocean single wing comes in 45lb and 60lb lift for single and twin set diving, and the Deep Ocean 2 hybrid wing comes in a wide choice of colours. For harsher conditions, the chemical resistant Ocean wing has retraction bands that keep the bladder tidy when it is empty. If you are starting from scratch, complete OMS harness and wing systems are also available.
