A neoprene sock is the cheapest comfort upgrade in diving. Worn inside a wetsuit boot, it adds a layer of warmth where you lose heat fastest, and, when worn inside a full-foot fin, it prevents the strap and heel pocket from rubbing during a long swim. Our 3mm socks are cut to sit snugly without bunching, with a flat seam that will not dig in, and they run from small through to extra-extra-large so you can size up over a drysuit sock if you need to. The same logic applies at the other end: a pair of neoprene diving gloves is the cheapest way to stop a dive ending early. If chafe rather than cold is the problem, a rash vest does the same job for your neck and shoulders.
