VAT Rate Cut - December 2008

Dear Beaver Customer,

Here at Beaver Sports we are proud of our customer service and our ability to keep our prices as competative as possible and we work hard at both. In the light of the recent decision by the Government to reduce VAT from 17.5% to 15% we intend to honor the spirit of this cut and reduce our retail prices to match. There are some things that as a customer you should be aware of:

We have updated our sales order processing system so orders placed from Monday 1st December will be charged at 15% VAT. Changing retail prices both on this website and the printed brochure will take longer, so please be aware that for the short term the prices on website etc. will be slightly higher than the actual price charged at the point of ordering. Every effort is being made to keep the transition as smooth as possible and we are continuing our commitment to customer service and being as competative as possible. We hope that you will be patient and are sure you will appreciate the amount of work involved to drop our retail prices in line with the VAT rate cut.
